The meeting helped clarify any problems I had with the concepts I learned in class. It was really helpful for me and I learned a lot!

You demonstrated a clear understanding of the material and competently explained each concept to the learner. You were able to identify what the learner needed assistance with and were able to help clear their confusions with the material. Good job!

Not only were you teaching the material well, but you guys were able to express your personalities to each other. You guys referred to each other in a friendly manner and had easy-going conversations about school and this facilitated a comfortable learning environment for both of you guys. You were considerate of her situation, what she needs help in, and what she wants to learn. Well done!

You adequately checked the prior knowledge of the learner by asking her what her last unit was about and seeing if she was able to remember anything she learned from class. You adapted to the unique needs of the learners by constantly interacting with her while you were explaining the problems, and making sure that she is following along and understanding. One thing you can do to enhance active learning and participation is asking her questions in the middle of problems, to get her to think about the concept and use her previous knowledge to understand the new concept. However, it is clear that you tried to ensure that the learner benefited from the session.
