There is some evidence the learners made progress. When one of the learners had a question, you made sure to thoroughly explain the concept he was having trouble with and he seemed like he understood it by the end of your talking. For the most part, everybody appeared to be tracking with your explanations, which is awesome!

I loved that you asked the learners "how they would approach the problem," instead of just saying to them to solve it. Your language makes a big difference and it can encourage them to participate more if they feel like the stakes are lower and that nothing bad will happen if they get it wrong. I also appreciated that you asked multiple times throughout the session if anybody had any questions/if they were confused to let you know. That's important to let them know that you they can come to you if they ever get stuck.
