Hi! My name is Asha, and I look forward to helping you prepare for the Reading and Writing section of the digital SAT (dSAT)! In my preparation for the SAT, the Reading & Writing section was the one that I struggled with the most, as I found it a lot less clear-cut than the Math section. However, I was able to improve my practice test scores (and ultimately my SAT score!) by understanding what kinds of questions would show up on the test and consistently practicing and reviewing skills that I knew I was weaker in. In this SAT Bootcamp, I will help you learn and practice the skills that you will need to know for the Reading & Writing section of the digital SAT, along with helpful test-taking strategies. All the preparation for the dSAT will be done in-class, guided by 5 mini-practice tests on the Schoolhouse platform and 1 full practice test on College Board’s Bluebook platform (we will go over how to access these in class). The majority of the time will be spent on targeted group practice and review, in order to help you work on skills that you need more practice in. I would very much appreciate for everyone to have their cameras on, but I understand if anyone has internet access issues or just doesn’t feel comfortable turning their cameras on. I’ve been there!
