You were really prepared, and it showed. You explained equilibrium in a clear, step-by-step way, especially when you introduced dynamic equilibrium and used the high-school analogy. That helped the learner actually picture what “no net change” means. I’d like to see you slow down a little when you shift from KC to KP, just so the learner has more time to connect the differences, but overall you communicated a strong understanding of the content.

You did a great job getting good practice problems to use that truly used the methods you were teaching. It was also good that there were multiple questions for the same type of problem, to really make sure the learners understood how to do it. Next time, I think that it would be even more beneficial if you occasionally checked in with learners - I've found that if you call by name or ask directly, they will ask questions more that way if they don't understand what is happening.

Great! You're showing good preparation by using a slideshow to convey your ideas to your learners, and having an agenda you will follow throughout your session. This is a great way to organize your thoughts and make clear to your learners what you plan on finishing in your session. You also show your learner a great understanding of the material, such as when you teach about sig figs. You clearly show you understand the topic by explaining every example problem thoroughly, great!

You did a good job keeping the flow moving and checking in, and you explained your thinking out loud in a way that a learner could follow. I’d like to see you invite the learner to explain their own reasoning a bit more, especially when you solved the equilibrium expression examples. Asking the learner to walk through a coefficient or setup themselves would make the session feel more interactive.

The tutor was prepared and had a PowerPoint presentation ready to teach her students. The tutor also explained all of the content very thoroughly which showed her deep understanding of the material. The PowerPoints were also very well organized and showed a deep understanding of AP Chemistry. Well done!

The tutor has effective slides and a well-prepared deck. I originally was going to put Intermediate for understanding of the material because they were j referencing the slides, but they also went on to write on the slides and further elaborate upon the slides' topics. Some specific instances were for the rate laws and the various orders. Great job!!!

You are a great teacher to them, and one slight improvement you could consider would have been asking for questions on whether or not they are still confused with any taught topics.
