Hey Shreya! I think that first off asking the learner questions like their grade and how they found schoolhouse is great because it sets a tone that is inviting and welcomes a learner to feel more comfortable. Also after breaking 81 down I like how you asked the learner if they were following along because it is easy for tutors to move on and leave the learner behind and asking as you go is a great strategy to make sure they are not lost. Also when you immediately follow the example with a similar problem for them to work through it really instills the concept and method for solving. Often learners can understand concepts but when asked to apply their knowledge it is often harder than it would seem so having a guided example like this is a great strategy. Also picturing breaking down radicals, as you did, 2x2x2x2x3x3 as 2^4x3^2 to help him understand shows mastery and a great way to convey the concept! I like the speed you worked throughout the session it was very thorough and precise and really is effective for teaching! Final praise I think the 1-10 scale is a great idea and I will start using that in my sessions. No critiques it was a great session!

Shreya!!! You were amazing! I learned a lot from you today. I never actually thought of applying special products to geometry.. That was new and at the same time enlightening. I also liked how you use simple language in explaining. I actually find the messy solutions on the board satisfying because I could see clearly the thought process behind it and the “aha moment” kicks in. I could see how much passionate you are about math and your excitement when solving the practice problems was contagious! This is definitely one of my favorite schoolhouse sessions. I hope you’re doing well! 😁

Thanks a lot! I joined this series to get a basic understanding of the Chapter but at the end of the series, i could understand and solve problems. She made jee problems seem easy and shared resources. She also preponed the session timings at my request. I am excited to join more of her sessions

The tutor is patient and very resourceful. She loves trigonometry and makes you love it too. And she really does teach you the approach to solve trig questions! (which is usually ignored). She will DEFINITELY improve your trig skills :)
