You engaged your learner throughout the session. You asked Amogh to explain how he arrived at his answers, and what I really liked was that you asked how he felt about the questions that he got right as well as the ones he got wrong. Sometimes, a learner may answer a question correctly but be unsure of the best way to approach such a question. Understanding the learner's thought process can help find ways to further guide the learner. You recognized the importance of this. You also used an effective method for checking the learners' prior knowledge of the content by giving him a practice test to complete at the beginning of the session.

Great job! You explained why the correct answer choices made sense and also gave tips for how to approach each type of question. It is important to teach learners how to approach questions for many different passages instead of merely how to approach questions from one particular passage, and you did. Next time, maybe you could try showing the passage on screen and highlighting parts of the text while reviewing the questions. Providing clear visualizations can help learners keep track of information.

Yes, Amogh followed along during your explanations and understood how to best approach the questions he missed this time.

You created a very friendly environment. You greeted the learner by name, asked how he's doing, gave words of encouragement throughout and even opened the session in a fun way with an icebreaker.
