We will be covering the basics of every unit and my tips for getting a 5 as someone who did this year. I will include a FRQ (free response question) break down in every session for anyone that needs to get early practice before starting the class.

We will go over how to perfect your common app essay.

We will continue the worksheet from yesterday on the muscular system biology and medical terminology.

We will go over diseases, word parts, and diagnostic treatments for the muscular system

We will read over the muscular system chapter of medical terminology textbook together and discuss the questions at the end.

Each day we will cover a new body system working through the medical terminology textbook. Great for HOSA med term prep or just learning biology/anatomy and physiology. We will use AP Biology to dissect terms and functions of body parts.

We will be diving through the world of psychology from a college freshmen perspective, but doing it in a way that includes numerous aspects of AP Bio. Looking at not only how the mind words, but the evolutionary passings and biological theories.

We will go over all things anatomy and physiology, freshman biology/health science.

We will go over photosynthesis and cellular respiration overview, and cover the structure and function of plant systems.

We will go over the vascular system of plants and the different functions of structures. This is strictly high school biology according to TEKS (Texas Standards).

We will go over macromolecules for high school biology with TEKS (Texas State Standards).

We will continue going over classroom TEKS (Texas Standards) from my session on 12/24.

We will continue the session from yesterday, going over all classroom topics (TEKS) from my slides.

We will go over all TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and other necessary information in a marathon session (as far as we can get in 90 minutes). This is useful for students who will be taking an algebra placement exam in their spring semester.

We will go over the Pythagorean Theorem and how to answer questions over scatter plots. This will be a very basic and brief session, only what you need for the SAT.

We will go over practice test 1 (linear) from College Board!

We will work though practice test 1 from College Board. I encourage you to have already taken the test before signing up because there is only a couple that CB releases.

In each session we will go over 1 concept that will help you with the state assessment for Texas (STAAR). This course will cover 8th grade math, which is the equivalent of pre-algebra in Texas' TEKS. If you are taking an Algebra Placement Exam, you will want to join in on this series.

Each day we will cover one unit based on Texas State Standards (TEKS). I will use 8th grade curriculum as that is the equivalent to Pre-Algebra. In occasion, Khan Academy may be used for independent or additional practice. Students will be empowered to master all 8th grade material in a fast-paced series.

I will be covering everything you need to know about pre-algebra in 2 weeks. It will be centrally focused on what you will need to know to ace every test in the classroom!
