We will go over the Pythagorean Theorem and how to answer questions over scatter plots. This will be a very basic and brief session, only what you need for the SAT.

We will go over practice test 1 (linear) from College Board!

We will work though practice test 1 from College Board. I encourage you to have already taken the test before signing up because there is only a couple that CB releases.

In each session we will go over 1 concept that will help you with the state assessment for Texas (STAAR). This course will cover 8th grade math, which is the equivalent of pre-algebra in Texas' TEKS. If you are taking an Algebra Placement Exam, you will want to join in on this series.

Each day we will cover one unit based on Texas State Standards (TEKS). I will use 8th grade curriculum as that is the equivalent to Pre-Algebra. In occasion, Khan Academy may be used for independent or additional practice. Students will be empowered to master all 8th grade material in a fast-paced series.

I will be covering everything you need to know about pre-algebra in 2 weeks. It will be centrally focused on what you will need to know to ace every test in the classroom!
