Each week, we will meet twice a week for 90 minutes on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am PST (Pacific Standard Time). This series will run from Wednesday 6/11 for eight weeks so there will be a total of 16 sessions. Each week's schedule: Wednesday --> Go over HW, Focus Skills, Practice Problems Friday --> Go over HW, Practice Test, Review Practice Test This will prepare you for the August SAT as well as other future SAT dates.

One session will be on Saturdays for Math and the other session will be on Sundays for Reading. This series will run from Saturday 6/14 for eight weeks so there will be a total of 16 sessions. For each session, we will work on some practice problems and skills. Then we will work on and review practice tests. This will prepare you for the August SAT as well as other future SAT dates.

We are working on specific SAT Math questions. Anyone can join in but these skills will be tailored towards Jenny.

We will spend 5 weeks (1 session/week) covering everything about Logarithms! Week 2: Change of Base Formula/Log Rules Week 3: Solving Exponential Equations with Logs Week 4: Exponential/Log Models Week 5: Review/Final "Test" Learners should come with a basic understanding of Algebra I and exponents. The first session will include some review of Algebra I topics.

This course is fully aligned with Khan Academy's Algebra I course. Each session we will go through one unit from Khan Academy. Interactive Slides and practice problems will enforce lectures, allowing learners to practice their new skills with confidence. My hope is for everyone to build their confidence in math, one skill at a time. I will offer personal 1-1 support for anyone who needs it throughout any time of the boot camp. Extra practice problems and instruction are always available upon request. There will be more sessions added! There should be approximately 14 weekly sessions.

We will go over complex numbers and imaginary numbers throughout the series. There will be two sessions in the series.

- Introduction to Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences - Constructing Sequences - Arithmetic and Geometric Series - Stigma Notation - Modeling with sequences - Convergent Geometric Series - Factorials - Binomial Theorem

We'll cover the basics of Logarithms over three sessions. We'll cover natural logs, common logs, exponential equations, and log properties! You don't need any prior experience with Logs, but make sure you have a solid understanding of Algebra I!

For learners who are planning on taking Pre-Algebra for the next school year. The course will happen throughout the summer to prepare learners for the upcoming school year. This is a fast-paced course that will require learners to dedicate time outside of session meetings. Failure to commit to the course may result in removable from the course. I may open additional slots if there is more demand. We will meet twice a week for one hour each to cover all of the main topics in KA's Pre-Algebra course. Please reference the Khan Academy Pre-Algebra course page for more information. We will cover an entire unit's worth of content in each session. All lectures will be referenced with practice problems and will require learners to take notes in their notebook. After each session, I will assign homework that will be due by the next session. At the beginning of each session, we will go over the answers to the previous night's homework. Learners may ask questions during this time and are always encouraged to ask questions throughout the entire session. Upon request, I will host additional optional office hour sessions for learners that are struggling with their homework or classwork. Times will depend on my schedule and availability, but I will try my best to accommodate all of my learners. Please have a notebook, scientific calculator, and a pencil ready for each class. It is important that we keep everything organized and we will discuss how we will organize our notebooks during orientation.
