Thank you for this session! You answered all my questions thoroughly and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to physics!

He is really patient and always welcomes questions. If you need any clarification on a topic, just ask!

Bill is really patient! He always clarifies things when we do not understand it fully or when we have some misguided assumptions.

Clear explanations at a good pace.

-At 7:43, I'm glad you invited the learners to ask questions whenever they want during your session. A lot of people may be hesitant to interrupt with a question, and you did great letting them know that it wouldn't hinder the session. -You allow the series to be driven by the learners! At 9:23, you ask the learners for their input as to what should be covered during the session. It looks like you have their best interests at heart to curate your next session. -Nice job checking the learners' prior knowledge (10:00). I like that you started with a concept question to check on their understanding. This is a really smart way to guide your session. This is also one of the many examples of you calling on learners to provide input in solving problems or explaining concepts; you're engaging them well! -You check learner progress by asking if they have questions multiple times throughout the session. The "correctness" of their answers when asked to participate also give you insight as to how well they understand the topic.

I like the About Me section you included in the slideshow at the beginning of the session! You did a good job introducing yourself and explaining your credentials so that the learners would be more comfortable and confident in using your tutoring. Great job asking the learners to introduce themselves as well; this creates a sense of community amongst the learners, easing up the session in general. I like that you commented on what the learners said about themselves; this shows that you're actively listening to them.

He explains the concepts really well. He does not hesitate to go back and re-explain a previous concept if we want to re-familiarise ourselves with the topic.

Bill, you're well-versed in Calculus (as seen by your lack of hesitation in adding new topics to the series). In terms of limits and continuity, the topic this session is on, you are able to explain the process of solving problems as well as the concept itself very well. At the beginning, where you sketch out a graph and visually demonstrate a limit, you did a wonderful job in creating a picture for the learners to follow along to. The timing of this visual was skillful, placed at a vital moment that would essentially determine the learners' understanding of the topic as a whole (rather than of problems). In general, I like that you used a presentation with an appealing format to guide this lesson. For example, the colors of the text on the slide about left-hand and right-hand limits determining whether limits exist help convey this very important concept. Great job overall!

Yes, the learners appear more confident in their answers and tend to get more problems correct as the session progresses. When they ask questions, you are able to answer them as clearly as they needed. For example, one of the learners says that a concept "makes a lot more sense" at 1:05:48. Good job!

Makes sure that we understand the topic. Always willing to clarify when we have questions.

Thank you so much for the session! I liked how you used the graph to illustrate the derivative of trig functions.
