This College Admissions Workshop on Finding Your Fit is a virtual 4-week workshop designed to provide you with structure and support to build your college list. In this workshop, you will: - Learn how to evaluate colleges across key factors like academics, campus life, location, and cost to find your best matches - Use online tools and resources to research schools thoroughly, looking beyond rankings to discover what makes each unique - Create a balanced list of reach, target, and safety schools that align with your academic profile and preferences - Develop strategies for exploring colleges through virtual tours, campus visits, and conversations with students and staff

In this workshop, you will: - Learn the purpose and the must-dos of the personal statement - Learn and practice strategies for picking a prompt, brainstorming, drafting, and revising your writing - Understand the role of supplemental questions and strategies for organizing your questions and responses - Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college. As part of an expanded cohort of up to 30 students, you'll benefit from diverse perspectives and collaborative learning opportunities throughout the workshop. This larger group setting allows for rich discussions and peer feedback sessions, while still ensuring you receive the guidance needed to develop your materials. You'll build connections with fellow college-bound students who can offer support and encouragement during this important journey.

This College Admissions Workshop on The Application is a virtual 2-week workshop that will provide you with information and support to submit your college applications. In this workshop, you will: - Learn the purpose of each part of the application - Understand how and when to apply and strategies to consider when making your plan - Complete drafts of frequently required parts of the application, such as lists of activities & experiences, and honors & awards - Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college.

Each week we will go over key topics based on the Khan Academy guide for the digital reading and writing section of the SAT. I will assign practice questions and be going over answers using practice tests.
