My name is Evelin Castillo, I am 16 years old and I live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I'm in my senior year of high school and I'd love to study abroad, that's why I'm working really hard to prepare for the SAT test. More than anything, I reflect myself as a totally curious young girl eager for knowledge. Fan of the stars, space and the entire astronomical world. With an incalculable level of creativity, a quality that has made me an effective team leader, capable of anticipating problems and innovating solutions. I always try to build a firm image of my goals and work for them with enthusiasm, perseverance and faith.

Over the years I have dedicated a lot of time to community activity, that's why social work is part of my life, because by collaborating with countless organizations, I have been able to reach leadership positions and positively impact people. Some examples of that: I currently work as a guide and mentor for more than 100 young people with a NGO known as Dream Project, giving regular workshops for their comprehensive development. Likewise, a few months ago I became an international ambassador for the “International Global Network” and with young people from all over the world (Asia, Europe, etc.) we discussed social problems and reached consensus in favor of the young population. In addition, I collaborate as a Director of the youth department of a Foundation known as "Fundacion Mirando Hacia el Futuro" and as Project Manager in the area of ​​Social Impact of the INCLUYETE Foundation. Also, I love reading and playing chess and sports.
