This is a 1-1 session. In other words, please do not join the series as I'm only teaching that specific student. The only reason why I'm putting this on schoolhouse is so that I can get volunteer hours.

*This session is open both for tutors and learners* This is an event that will get participants involved in the community on a monthly basis. Within these team-building events, participants will improve tutoring/learning and leadership abilities as well as find an easier way to engage with the community in schoolhouse. These sessions will consist of a learning slideshow (how to improve your public speaking skills, how to appropriately ask questions, etc), which will be followed by a team-building activity that are both fun and engaging. Do you want to boost your learning in Thanksgiving? Then this series is for you! We will be covering one entire Khan Academy unit, in two days. We will be meeting once a day, for a whole three hours! There will be a break in the middle to make sure you aren't staring at your screen too much though. The goal is to get you guys to pass the Khan Academy "Multiplying and Factoring Quadratics" unit by the end of the second day. Cameras are encouraged, but not required. There should be no background noise in your environment, so you are free to use a mic. In addition, if we have any extra time, we will be attempting to use our new knowledge in quadratics in more competition style math problems from artofproblemsolving.com

Tutors/Learners can join this club to get everything from Schoolhouse!!! We will meet once a month and there will be games, learner/tutor stories, learning, small group discussions, and a chance to give feedback!!!!! Furthermore, each week there will be a new "special topic". Whether this be some discrete mathematics, public speaking, learning about how schoolhouse started, or any awesome idea you learners come up with, each session will always be fun, educational, and inspiring. In addition, there will be learner/tutor stories in the session. I know this requires a lot of courage, but if you're up to it, either DM me on schoolhouse or slack(if you're a tutor).

We'll go through the Khan Academy Unit "Exponents and Radicals". During the first session, we will take a pre-assessment quiz. Based on those results, I will send you recommendations on which optional practice sessions to attend and which you can skip. We'll learn the basics of vocal technique, learn ways to become a better musician, and in the end, we will even have a mini-concert. Topics we will cover include: breath support, performance technique, how to stay on pitch, skills that will help you as a musician, how to read music, and more! This series is for beginning singers and music lovers. Lessons will consist of lectures, examples, and exercises. Sessions will be added as the series goes on, for now, I plan on having around ten sessions
