I’m a high school senior from Washington, DC and am interested in becoming a tutor at Schoolhouse.
As an avid user of YouTube and Khan Academy for understanding or reviewing topics, solving problem sets and studying for standardized tests, I recognize the significant utility and impact having reachable help has on one’s learning as a student.
I speak 3 languages fluently (English, Spanish and Italian) and have taken 5 AP classes (World History, US History, English Language and Composition, Chemistry and Physics 1), discounting this year’s (5). In addition, I have taken and succeeded in Honors-class-level Algebra 1 with geometry, Algebra 2 with trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Chemistry, Biology and Latin. Thus, I would be able to offer my help in those areas.
