Derivatives/Integrals

I’ll be going over a whole bunch of derivative/integral problems to get you a solid foundation on how to do them for the AP exam! There will be a lot practice problems we'll just be cranking them out during this session

Note: feel free to give me suggestions on what you would like me to cover!

AP Calculus AB/BC - Limits & Continuity/Derivatives/Integral

Limits and Continuity (AP Calculus AB/BC)
In this session, we will explore the fundamental concepts of limits and continuity, which are the building blocks of calculus. You will learn how to:

Calculate limits analytically, including limits involving infinity.
Identify cases where a limit does not exist (discontinuities).
Work with one-sided limits and piecewise functions.
Apply the concept of continuity, understanding where a function is continuous or discontinuous.
Use limit properties and algebraic techniques to solve complex limit problems.

Feel free to join to practice or ask any questions!

AP Calc - Weekend Help

Come in if you need help with anything + if you want practice or assistance in a certain area of calculus.
Feel free to also join in and just study with me in the background IN CASE you have any questions. I know that can help too, especially in the beginning of the year.

AP Calculus AB/BC - Limits & Continuity/Derivatives/Integral

In this session, I'll cover derivatives using:

- Power Rule to differentiate polynomials and other power functions.
- Product Rule to differentiate functions that are the product of two or more terms.
- Quotient Rule for differentiating ratios of functions.
- Handle more complex functions using the Chain Rule, which is essential for differentiating compositions of functions.
- Differentiate trigonometric functions like sin(x), cos(x), and tan(x)

I'll be going over some of the simpler derivatives as well as a few hand picked "difficult" derivatives to prepare you for the AP Exam.

THIS SESSION WILL COVER DERIVATIVES. It will stray from the series description but derivatives are fundamental and pertinent to calculus, so I will ensure this session and potentially the next cover them.

Otherwise, we'll review topics as they come up, choosing the topic at the beginning of each session. Topic repeats will be avoided unless ALL learners are unison to go over it.

But this time it'll be derivatives...
