About

This is a ONE TIME very special mock Tournament I will host here on schoolhouse, so whether you're a seasoned pro, or just a beginner or even not knowing was Scioly is at all, this is for you!

(The first session is the tests, the second session will be Awards/Certifications.)

This is essentially kind of like a study/practice session as multiple students are getting stressed for their first Regional or State tournaments!

There will be two divisions for this meeting:

Division B: Middle Schoolers (6-9) - Slightly Easier Tests
Division C: High Schoolers (9-12) - Slightly Harder Tests

You may choose which division you wish to be on by looking at the list at the bottom of the description.

What is Science Olympiad / Scioly?
Science Olympiad is a premier national STEM competition for K-12 students.

Features 23 team-based events on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, and Engineering.

There are 3 event types:
- Study Events
- Build Events
- Lab Events

We will only be able to do Study Events because Lab and Study require physical equipment.

Science Olympiad gives students a wide skill range in multiple provinces of science, and this is often the equivalent to signing up for something like Debate.

Even if your new, your welcome here as I can teach you on how to open a Science Olympiad in your school (If you live within the United States) Other countries have different tournaments that are basically the same thing as SciOly however just under a different name.

I will not be able to give out medals, however, I will give out certifications for the rankings based on the amount of people who attend this. The certifications doesn't really hold too much value unless you're heading to a science/medical related branch in careers or colleges in which you could just staple that onto your record/college transcript and it looks better, Hooray!

We will be using the honor system for this tournament, no cameras will be required to be turned on.

I and 2 other people (Science Teacher, and a Tutor) will grade all of the tests I create and grade them without bias while maintaining the accurate holdings to the tests.

This will be a hour and 30 minute long session, multiple tests will be going on, and I will try to assist as rules manuals allowed.

All of the notes below, you will be allowed to use notes that you create, or I can provide.
