About

Welcome to your journey toward a score of 5! Whether you are a freshman tackling AP Human Geography (APHUG) or a sophomore diving into AP World History: Modern, my goal is to turn these daunting subjects into your highest-scoring credits. For info, I am a high school junior, and I've taken both these APS and scored a 4. I am just here to help!

Both exams are more than just memorizing dates or maps; they are about understanding the "Why of Where" and the "How of History." Here is how we will master the material together:

*****First session will only mainly go over AP World but I am happy to answer AP Hug questions*****
Our Road Map to a 5
Session 1: The Blueprint
Success starts with knowing exactly how you are being graded. In our first meeting, we will do a deep dive into the Exam Layout.

For Freshmen (APHUG): We’ll demystify the multi-part FRQs (Free Response Questions) and show you how to hunt for points in the Multiple Choice section.

For Sophomores (AP World): We’ll break down the specific "recipes" for the SAQ, DBQ, and LEQ so you never feel stuck staring at a blank page.

Session 2 & Beyond: One Topic, One Goal
After we have the strategy down, we shift into high-gear content mastery. Every subsequent session will follow a proven structure:

Deep Dive: We cover one major unit/topic per session (e.g., Industrialization in World or Population Patterns in APHUG).

The "Big Picture": I’ll show you how that topic connects to the rest of the course—essential for those high-level analysis points.

Active Practice: We will end every session with practice questions pulled from past exams to ensure you can apply what you just learned under pressure.

Why This Works
AP courses can feel like drinking from a firehose. By breaking the curriculum down into digestible, weekly topics and reinforcing them with real test questions, we build your confidence and your "historical thinking" muscles simultaneously.

My Mission: To show you how I scored a 4 on both exams with minimal studying, and show you how if you study you can score even better and get a 5!

Hey! I am a 16 year old Junior in High-School looking to teach people about the AP Program and see if I can help you in any AP subject. So far, I have taken AP World and APHUG and got 4s. I am in 4 APs now and plan to take 7 next year. I would love to be able to help out anyone with my knowledge, and am up to learning more from anyone as well. I plan on majoring in biology, so many of my APS specialize in science, such as APES, APBIO, APCHEM, AP Physics, and math subjects like AP stats and APCALC AB. Feel free reach out!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

To ensure we stay on track for that 5, consistency is our most important tool. Because our sessions are structured to cover one specific AP unit at a time, missing a meeting can create a gap in your knowledge base. Though that may be the case, a meeting missed here and there isn't a big deal with a heads up, I am happy to fill in your gaps in knowledge.

Here is the attendance policy designed to keep us organized and focused on your academic goals:

📅 Attendance & Punctuality Policy

1. Consistency is Key

To maintain momentum, students are expected to attend their scheduled weekly session. Each session builds on the "Blueprint" strategies we establish in Week 1.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling 24-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the time slot to another student or adjust our curriculum timeline. Emergency Situations: I understand that life happens! In the event of a sudden illness or family emergency, please notify me as soon as possible, life always comes before in my book. 3. Late Arrival The Clock Starts: Sessions will begin at the scheduled time. If a student is late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to remain fair to the next student. However, I will wait for 5 minutes after the time just in case as we all might be late sometimes for the first few sessions. 15-Minute Rule: If a student is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session will be considered a "No-Show" and may be cancelled. 4. No-Show Policy Missing a session without any prior communication prevents us from covering that week’s specific AP topic. Frequent no-shows may result in the loss of your preferred time slot in the weekly schedule. 📝 Preparing for the Session To get the most out of our time (and to ensure we have time for our practice questions at the end), please arrive with: Your primary textbook or class notes. A laptop or notebook for drafting FRQ/DBQ outlines. Any specific questions from your school-day AP teacher. The "Catch-Up" Clause If a session is missed, it is the student's responsibility to review the missed unit’s key terms. During our next meeting, we will spend the first 5 minutes doing a "Quick-Fire" review of the missed material to ensure you aren't left behind before we start the new topic.

SESSION 1

World History

World History

Sat 9:00 PM - 10:20 PM UTCJan 24, 9:00 PM - 10:20 PM UTC

Welcome to our first session! Today is all about laying the groundwork for your 5. We are going to tackle two things: the Master Blueprint of the AP World History exam and the foundations of Unit 1 (The Global Tapestry).

Getting a 5 isn't just about knowing history; it's about knowing how the College Board asks you to prove it.

Part 1: The Exam Blueprint (The "How")
Since this is a digital exam, speed and strategy are your best friends. Today, we will spend the majority of time analyzing each section of the test and seeing how college board wants you to answer the 4 sections. Ad, I'll show you the tips and tricks I learned and can show you!

Part 2: Period 1 (1200–1450) – The Global Tapestry
We are starting with Unit 1. This era is all about how states grew and how religions acted as the "glue" holding them together.

Then the end, we can try some practice MCQ (Multiple-choice question) questions and tackle one SAQ (Short Answer question) question as well.
