About

Welcome to Schoolhouse.world's Winter 2025 HOSA Events and Competition. OSA stands for Health Occupations for Students of America, but in our case it will be for students of the world. This series ending in a competition will be great for all you hopeful doctors, nurses, dentists, psychologists, medical scientists, etc.

The series will run from December-February with the competition concluding the events at the beginning of March.

During this time you will choose from a selection of events and choose the one(s) you want to compete in. You will have 3 months to self-study. During those three months there will be other sessions hosted on various topics within health professions including health advocacy, a leadership conference, health professions spotlights, medical law, medical labs and much more!

This event is open to everyone in the schoolhouse. Even if you don’t want to be a health professional or are not sure there are events for you including medical math, medical reading, biomedical debate, etc.

Also at the end, you will get a certificate of participation if you complete all requirements.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

All sessions except the competition are optional unless you want to get a certificate of participation.

To get the certificate of participation you must

- attend all 3 General Meetings

- attend 3 specialty meetings each month (9 in total)

- attend either the leadership clinic or conference

- compete in your chosen events
