Starts

In this session, we'll be studying as a group for the Reading and Writing portion of the SAT on December 6, 2025. From this session, you can expect a laid-back, relaxing environment where we go over practice questions from the SAT question bank, collaborate to answer tricky questions, and study together at our own paces. This session will be a low-pressure place to review before the test, so come with material to study and any questions you have and we'll work on our own studying as well as answer any questions you may have. 😀

I've written multiple books and consistently ace the grammar section. There's no reason you shouldn't, too. It's a place of patterns, and once you find them, you'll finish the grammar section in minutes.

The SAT doesn’t measure genius, just teachable skills. With the right preparation, you can score like a top test-taker. I’ve helped students raise their scores into the 1400s and 1500s, and many of them now tutor on Schoolhouse themselves.

As a Senior SAT Tutor with a 1520 score, I’ve guided students toward proven results you can trust.

🏆 Top 20 in Super Helpful Ratings

(out of 30k tutors on Schoolhouse)

In this course, we’ll cover all four SAT Reading and Writing sections: Information & Ideas, Craft & Structure, Expression of Ideas and Standard English Conventions

Throughout the course, we’ll focus on the question types within these four sections the College Board repeats, building strategies to work efficiently and avoid traps.

Each lesson comes with clear notes, curated practice, and access to the best free SAT resources, along with original guides I’ve created to simplify advanced topics.

We’ll use educator-level College Board question banks without spoiling Bluebook tests, so you’ll still have official exams to track your growth.

The format is flexible. Each session stands on its own, so you can join at any point and attend the lessons that target your weaknesses, or stay for the entire series to build complete mastery.

My students consistently report not only score gains but also newfound confidence and calm on test day, knowing they’ve seen the toughest material in advance.

Whether you’re trying to break through a 600 plateau or aiming for a 750+, this course will give you the tools, resources, and mindset to make it happen.

Join anytime and take a step towards excellence in SAT English!

Master the SAT Reading & Writing section!

2nd session

This series is designed for students who are aiming for a high score on the SAT Reading and Writing section. We will review the College Board practice tests, during which I will share my tips and strategies for tackling different types of questions.

Each week, students will be required to complete a problem set before the session. In class, we will primarily focus on the problems that students found difficult to solve.

Please note that this is a continuation of a series offered in the previous school year. As such, there will be greater emphasis on problem-solving rather than on learning new concepts.

Are you scoring in the 650-700 range or higher for SAT English? Do you want to break out of that range? I understand your struggle! When I was prepping for the SAT it took me a while to break out of the "high" score range to the "elite" score range, specifically for English. That's why I'm hosting this session---so you can learn exactly how I approached questions on the English section to get a 750 on my last SAT English section. We'll be going over traditionally hard questions from all domains of the SAT English, and really honing our skills to aim for that 720+ on the section.

Note: Do NOT join if you are not scoring within the 650-700 or higher range! I am gearing this session towards already high scorers looking to improve their score where most plateau. I will NOT be going over basic stuff.

SAT Grammar: Crash Course

3rd session

This session has EIGHT 700+ scorers 🔥🔥 who will give you advanced tips on how to do better. (800, 790, 770, 700+, 700+, 700+, 700+, 700+)

Transition questions are one of the trickiest parts of the SAT Reading & Writing section. BUT, once you master these questions, they are one of the most easy ways to secure points. In this session, we’ll break down the different types of transition questions, go step-by-step through real practice problems, and learn how to spot the right answer every time with many strategies. By the end, you’ll feel confident tackling these high-yield questions and boosting your score 😁👍.

We are also looking for additional co-hosts! Feel free to message any of the tutors and ask to co-host the session.

We'll be reviewing key SAT Reading & Writing strategies — focusing on quick wins like process of elimination, spotting tone and purpose questions, and avoiding common traps. We’ll also go through a few practice questions together and talk about pacing, test-day mindset, and what to prioritize in the final days of prep. Great for last-minute review or sharpening up core strategies

In each class, we will use [simplification] and [prediction] strategies to solve 10 difficult questions from the SAT Question Bank.

Learners will focus on:
1. Retaining key information from the first read.
2. Supporting answers with clear, concrete evidence.
3. Simplifying complex ideas in non-fiction passages.

Main Goals:
1. Minimize the need to repeatedly refer back to the passage, saving valuable time.
2. Reduce uncertainty and improve confidence in selecting the correct answers.

Note:
This is the 2nd class for my READING DRILL series (for those who can't make the first one due to time zone differences!) We'll be covering the same content as the first, so if you're already registered for CLASS 1, there's no need to register for CLASS 2.
