About

Join and work towards last-minute score improvements with preparation for the SAT's favorite low-accuracy problems.

With just three hours of this class, you will be more prepared for the concepts most students are unprepared for, learn strategies to save time, and develop confidence for the last few minutes and questions that are essential to your future SAT success.

The goal of this course is to review topics and strategies that will be the most effective in getting you those last few points in the most time-efficient way possible.

The course includes two 90-minute sessions the Saturday before the March SAT:
  • One SAT Math session
  • One SAT English (Reading & Writing) session

Each session stands on its own, so you can attend the lesson that targets your biggest weaknesses or join both for a complete final review.

What We’ll Cover:

1. SAT Math
  • Algebra
  • Advanced Math
  • Geometry & Trigonometry
  • Problem-Solving & Data Analysis

2. SAT Reading & Writing
  • High-frequency grammar rules
  • Common reading question patterns
  • Strategies for accuracy, efficiency, and avoiding traps

Throughout the course, we’ll focus on:
  1. Repeat SAT question types that cost students the most points
  2. Time-efficient strategies that work under real test pressure
  3. How to use Desmos strategically to save time and avoid mistakes
We’ll practice with official College Board questions without spoiling Bluebook exams, so you can still use full tests without repeating exact questions.

Each session includes clear notes, practice, access to high-quality free SAT resources, and original guides I’ve created to simplify advanced topics.

Schedule & Format:

🗓 Two total sessions
⏱ 90 minutes per session
📆 Held the Saturday before the March SAT
📚 One Math session + one Reading & Writing session

Hi, I’m Matthew! Welcome to my profile! I'm a senior in high school from Illinois (US). I am an experienced Senior Tutor on Schoolhouse. Most of my time here is spent on my SAT courses, but I have experience and certifications for topics across the platform. I host rigorous courses designed to make your test prep consistent, effective, and stress-free. My goal is to help students have the resources necessary to reach their goals. I have experience guiding students to scores in the 1400s and 1500s, many of whom have now become tutors themselves on Schoolhouse. Outside of tutoring, I play baseball, support the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and play video games. I’m also involved in BPA, Debate, YMSL, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta (Math NHS). Hello, I like making music, playing music, and coding. I'm pretty lazy so you'll probably see me playing video games instead of studying for USAMO
