Hi Christine! I hope you’re having a good day! I just audited your session, and you did an amazing job at making sure that the learners fully understanding the content. I love how as people came in to the room, you made sure to greet them by name, making them feel welcome. I love how you started off by introducing yourself and introduced others to get to know each other. I love how you also had a warm up question to see what learners already knew about the subject and to get them ready to learn. Throughout the session, I loved how you explained some problems and you asked questions to understand what the learners needed help with. I also loved your explanation of real world applications of learning about the topic in economics especially. Even when you were teaching, I loved how you continuously gave problems for them to try so they could understand better. During the entire session you were always respectful and kind to the learners. Hey there Christine! I'm Shreya V from the auditing team. INCREDIBLE job on your first session :)) You looked very confident and you were super patient with your learners. I loved that you made slides - they were beautiful and so concise as well. You did a good job by asking all the learners to introduce themselves before starting the session. I loved how calm you were while explaining each answer. You thought before penning down stuff and that's a great practice. I absolutely loved the cross-multiplication tip you shared. I didn't know that myself! I just wanted to mention one thing - it's SHW (Short for 'S'chool'h'ouse.'w'orld), I think you used 'SWH' on your slides, no worries at all. I get confused too sometimes :) All in all, great work and great tutoring practices! Thank you for volunteering at Schoolhouse 🙌

Hey Christine, I hope you’re having a great day! I just audited your math session and thought you did a stellar job. From the start, you were both welcoming and flexible, greeting your learner properly and carrying out the session despite some technology issues. Furthermore, you did wonderfully making the session interactive. By asking questions to check in with your learner, and bring them into the problem-solving process, you tutored effectively. Moreover, by using the zoom whiteboard you enabled yourself to communicate concepts in a way that made them more abstract/comprehendible, and with Khan Academy you utilized a really good source of practice problems. Also, your ability to continuously teach so many different mathematical concepts, without losing zeal or professionalism is very respectable. You most certainly deserve your certifications as well as all the best with your future ventures! Thank you so much for volunteering here on Schoolhouse, I really hope you continue to! If I had much anything to say about this session, it would be that you really did take my advice! I'm sure each one of your learners took something away from the session, despite their wide grade range, and most certainly everyone has a lasting good impression! I am astonished just at how good your slides are ~ - (really, I'm quite jealous). Not only that, but you put solutions - a task I admit I'm a bit lazy on providing concerning my own slides! Also, did you make that handout? If so, there's really only one thing wrong with this session - that you put so much effort and care into it that it's made me even more jealous~ In all seriousness, congratulations on becoming a tutor!
