In this unit, we will be reviewing the first unit in the AP CSP course Big Data. We will discuss lossless vs. lossy compression, binary numbers and data transmission. What is data? How can it be used? These are but a few of the questions that will be discussed in today's session.

What is a network? What is the World Wide Web? What are IP addresses, domains, and servers? These are but a few of the questions that will be answered during this session.
