If you are in need of a SAT math crash course (the best DESMOS tricks +formulas) for May (or just in general), then this is the session for you.
To preface, I have hosted many of these sessions before and have had great reviews from students, check them out on my profile page to see if this is something for you (click see all)!
We will start at an intermediate level since some people are not ready to cover the advanced material that we will end up going through by the end of this course.
Each session will be focused on each domain algebra, advanced math, and the third will be problem solving and data analysis combined with geometry. Then you will take a practice test and hopefully, you will be able to apply all the skills you will learn.
We will cover the best desmos strategies you can use (regressions, tables, lists, sliders). We will first begin at a slower pace in case you are unfamiliar with desmos, and then we will do some more advanced problems to see how you utilize these strategies in real practice.
Next, we will focus on every formula (especially geometry) you need to have memorized for your sat. Similarly, we will start off with some medium problems to see how these formulas are applied, and then do difficult problems to ensure you can get 800 if you also put in the effort.
At the end of each session, I will stay up to 20+ minutes extra to make sure you are confident in the material we learned during our sessions.
