About

Hi! My name is Jerrie and I can't wait to meet you! As a high school senior, I know how daunting maths can be, but it doesn't have to be! Through this bootcamp, I hope to help you progress in your maths journey for the SAT and also have fun in the process.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi! My name is Jerrie and I'm currently a high school senior living in Switzerland. In school, you'll often find me in the science and engineering labs designing fun gadgets or games for my peers, but otherwise, I'm most comfortable in the kitchen at home or on the Alps skiing! I'm here to help others with anything related to STEM and SAT prep, and hopefully make the process fun as well.

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
