About

In this series, I will cover the 8 units of AP Biology in the first 8 sessions: Unit 1 Chemistry of Life, Unit 2 Cell Structure and Function, Unit 3 Cellular Energetics, Unit 4 Cell Communication and Cell Cycle, Unit 5 Heredity, Unit 6 Gene Expression and Regulation, Unit 7 Natural Selection, and Unit 8 Ecology. In the next 4 sessions, I will be providing practice resources, and examples of MCQ's, and FRQ's to prepare the learners for taking the AP test. The last session incorporates practice exam(s), review game, and Q/A. Basic understanding of Biology and prior exposure to AP Bio concepts is recommended, but not required. Learners need to have a notebook, and a pencil. Access to AP Biology College Board, and calculator is helpful.

Hi there, I'm glad you stopped by! I'm Vansika, a high school sophomore who teaches AP Biology, and AP World History. I have a strong understanding of the material with my scores of a 5 in AP World with a grade of 96 (A), and a 4 in AP Biology with a grade of 94 (A). I understand how frustrating, and stressful it can feel when concepts just don't click. I've been there, and through trial and error, I've discovered strategies that make tough material easier to understand, remember, and apply. My goal is to share my knowledge and methods to help fellow learners achieve their AP goals with confidence. As an ISTJ, I design detail-oriented, structured, and organized sessions ensuring that concepts are explained clearly, and logically. My sessions bring learning back to life by incorporating interactive games, practice problems, and creative exercises to make studying engaging, fun, and effective for every learner! Outside tutoring, I love volunteering to help kids through Key club, and YMCA. I'm also deeply interested in exploring medicine, law, and finance! When I'm not volunteering or learning new topics, you'll find me exploring the imaginative worlds of fantasy books, cartoons, and animated movies. Learning can be challenging, but you don't have to go through it alone. As a tutor, I'm here to support learners in their growth-so feel free to reach out anytime! Let's explore these topics together in my next session!
