About

This session will focus on evaluating expressions with variables in pre-algebra. This session is for (typically elementary to middle school) students who are yet unfamiliar with pre-algebra and want to focus on developing basic math skills. The content will be somewhat similar but more in depth than that of Khan Academy. We will learn about what it means to "evaluate" algebraic expressions, evaluate expressions with one variable, exponents, multiple variables, and finally work on word problems.

Hi everyone! I’m joining Schoolhouse to share my experience and passion for learning. Having gone through the process of preparing for and taking the SAT, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies needed to succeed. I’m excited to use my knowledge to help others reach their goals. I find peer tutoring incredibly rewarding and am looking forward to giving back to the community through this volunteering opportunity. Let’s learn and grow together!
