✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

📜 Official Learner Attendance & Certification Policy

To maintain the professional standards required by Z Youth Climatics and our partners at the Thirst Project, all participants must adhere to the following rules to qualify for their final certificate.

1. The "80% Attendance" Rule

Requirement: You must attend at least 8 out of the 10 live sessions.

Reasoning: Since this is a "Production Sprint," missing more than two weeks means you will lose track of the script changes and technical directions.

Exceptions: If you have a timezone conflict or school emergency, you must read the summary of the session in the chat. 2. Mandatory Deadlines (The "No-Show" Policy) Filming Deadlines: If you are assigned a specific scene (e.g., in Week 3), your footage must be uploaded by the following Friday. Consequence: If a student misses a filming deadline without communication, their role will be "re-cast" to another student to ensure the project stays on schedule for World Water Day. 3. Active Contribution Requirement To receive a certificate, it is not enough to just "be in the Zoom call." You must contribute in one of the following ways: On-Screen: Record at least 2 assigned clips. Behind-Scenes: Submit 5+ high-quality B-Roll clips. Strategy: Contribute significantly to the Week 2 Scripting or Week 8 Sound Design. 4. Professional Conduct All footage submitted must be "Clean" (no copyrighted logos on clothing, no inappropriate background items). 🏆 How Certification is Awarded by THIRST PROJECT (USA) NGO Certificates will be issued only after the final video is successfully sent to the USA (Week 10). Standard Certification: Awarded to those meeting the 8/10 attendance and submission requirements.
