About

This is not a lecture. You will talk, write, and solve.

At the start of each session you vote on what you are studying right now (derivatives, applications, integrals, accumulation, FRQ skills). We will do 2 to 3 AP style problems focused on setup, interpretation, and common point losing mistakes.

Expect to answer in chat every few minutes and explain at least one step out loud. I’ll coach your reasoning and end with a clean, test ready solution.

Get ahead during winter break and ace your next test!

I’m a senior in high school and I live in New Jersey. My focus is setup, interpretation, and fixing the exact mistakes that cost points on AP style questions. I’m happy to slow things down until it clicks. I can help with Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Physics 1, plus most high level STEM questions.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Sessions are split into two 30 minute blocks, one full session is 60 minutes.

If you need to miss, message me ahead of time. If you miss 2 sessions in a row without messaging, I may remove you to open a spot for an active learner.

No classes on December 25th.

SESSION 1

Contextual applications of differentiation

Contextual applications of differentiation

Wed 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTCDec 24, 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

Vote on topic. Today’s focus is interpretation: what does your derivative or integral mean in words and units. Everyone types a one sentence interpretation.

SESSION 2

Differentiation: composite, implicit, and inverse functions

Differentiation: composite, implicit, and inverse functions

Wed 2:00 AM - 2:30 AM UTCDec 24, 2:00 AM - 2:30 AM UTC

Vote on what you are currently studying (derivatives, applications, integrals, accumulation). We run one FRQ style problem on the winning topic. Everyone must type setup, then one person explains out loud, then another writes the justification sentence.

Contextual applications of differentiation

Wed 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM UTCDec 24, 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM UTC

Same vote. Today’s focus is error diagnosis. I show a wrong solution and you find the mistake.

Differentiation: composite, implicit, and inverse functions

Wed 9:00 PM - 9:30 PM UTCDec 24, 9:00 PM - 9:30 PM UTC

Same vote. Today’s focus is AP style justification. We take one problem and write the clean rubric style reasoning.

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

Fri 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM UTCDec 26, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

Contextual applications of differentiation

Sat 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTCDec 27, 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

Same vote. Today’s focus is “common traps.” You get 6 mini prompts, each designed to bait a typical mistake. You call out the trap in chat.
