About

Hi everyone! In this enrichment series, we'll dive into one major world event each session, exploring how different perspectives tell the story. Together, we'll try to figure out what really happened by spotting exaggerations and separating fact from fiction through watching news reports, reading short articles, and examining source biases. With misinformation everywhere these days, improving your ability to detect it is a game-changer—so join me in mastering the art of navigating the news!

I’m a junior in the NYC area interested in geopolitics and macroeconomics. At my school, I am president of the Young Politicians Club, captain of the History Bowl team, editor-in-chief of the Foreign Policy Journal, and a member of the Debate and Track teams. Outside of that, I serve as political advocacy coordinator for a Ukrainian group in my city, district leader in an organization that promotes civil political dialogue, and I volunteer at a local food bank. I enjoy biking around NYC, reading (currently reading Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov), and cooking.
