Feel free to bring in your homework! 
- In small group sessions, we’ll go over 1 Khan Academy unit per week. At the end of each session, we’ll do the Khan Academy unit test for that lesson as a group, and some problems individually.
- This series will cover linear, exponential, absolute value, and quadratic equations and will complete the entirety of Khan Academy’s Algebra 1 curriculum.
- This could serve as a great review, or put you well ahead of your Algebra 1 class! 
- Please try to make it to every session with a pencil and paper, or some other way to do math problems!

Solving equations & inequalities

We’ll begin with the Algebra foundations/Pre-Algebra unit test, then learn
- How to tell how many solutions an equation has 
- How to solve an algebraic equation 
- How to solve algebraic inequalities
- Solutions to compound linear inequalities 
If time permits, we’ll finish with the unit test.

Linear equations & graphs

- Forms of two-variable linear equations (different ways to write the equation of a line) 
- Finding x and y intercepts 
- Two-variable equation word problems 
At the end, we’ll do the unit tests for both units.

These can seem daunting to solve at first, but don’t be discouraged! :)

- Explicit formula for geometric sequences
