Orientation

We'll be going through the foundations of algebra including variables, combining like terms, and more. I will have a PowerPoint presentation along with practice problems.

Solving equations & inequalities
I will start with a powerpoint going over simple and multistep equations. We will practice using Khan Academy, and a quizziz game at the end. Come with paper and a pencil!

Linear equations & graphs
I will start off with a powerpoint going over linear equations, slope, and x and y intercepts. We will be doing practice problems on Khan Academy, and lastly we will do a fun game to test our knowledge! Based on time, I may start on the next unit too.

Because quadratics includes a lot of topics, we will be splitting it up across multiple sessions. This session will be on introducing parabolas, the zero product property, graphing qudratics in factored form, and solving by taking the square root.

Continuing with quadratics! Reviewing everything we did in the past session along with vertex form, more factoring, completing the square, and the qudratic formula! If we can get through more, I will continue down the unit in Khan Academy.
