About

Discuss global economics, public policy, and innovation with peers worldwide. Hosted by two Senior Tutors, Matthew L and Andres P, you won't want to miss out on this dialogue club!

Join a virtual Dialogue Club to connect with students across the globe and dive into the issues shaping our world — from artificial intelligence and healthcare to inequality, climate change, and the future of capitalism. We meet every other week, each session centered on a new theme that blends economics, public policy, and modern global challenges.

By participating in 3+ sessions, you’ll earn a Dialogues portfolio showcasing your engagement and insights — something you can also submit with your college applications to our university partners. More than just discussion, this club is a chance to sharpen leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills while exploring how policy and economics shape society.

Hi, I’m Matthew! Welcome to my profile! I'm a senior in high school from Illinois (US). I’m an experienced tutor on Schoolhouse and serve as a Senior Tutor, primarily tutoring the SAT. I also serve as a Dialogue Club President. I run structured, in-depth, courses to make test prep manageable and effective with a goal of helping all students reach their goals. I have experience guiding students to scores in the 1400s and 1500s, many of whom have now become tutors themselves on Schoolhouse Outside of tutoring, I play baseball, support the Chicago Cubs and Bears and play video games. I’m also involved in BPA, Debate, YMSL, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta (Math NHS).
