About

Taught by a 1520 scoring SAT Prep Senior Tutor, this course builds confidence in the toughest SAT Reading and Writing topics with interactive review games, session topics that you request, and supportive office hours designed to help you maximize your reading and writing score on test day.

Feeling stuck in SAT English? Let’s fix that. This course helps you practice, review, and reinforce the toughest SAT English question types — so you can walk into test day with clarity and confidence.

We meet once a week on Sundays for 40-minute sessions.

We’ll follow a schedule aligned with the cycle of the main course to help you stay sharp, confident, and in control of even the trickiest reading and writing questions:

Unlike SAT Bootcamps and courses provided by other tutors, I have flexible attendance. You can join anytime and choose when to attend: whether you’re catching up, reviewing, or looking for extra support. It’s SAT prep, on your terms.

This course is built to help you deepen understanding, sharpen strategies, and make real progress.

Let’s excel in SAT English — together.

Hi, I’m Matthew! Welcome to my profile! I'm a senior in high school from Illinois (US). I am an experienced Senior Tutor on Schoolhouse. My primary focus is teaching my SAT courses, but I also have certifications and experience across the platform. I run structured, in-depth, courses to make test prep manageable and effective with a goal of helping all students reach their goals. Outside of tutoring, I play baseball, support the Chicago Cubs and Bears and play video games. I’m also involved in BPA, Debate, YMSL, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta (Math NHS).
