Welcome to the world of sign language!
⭐️ Through this course, learners will be introduced to the basics of American Sign Language and deaf culture through lessons and fun activities!
⭐️ Learners are encouraged to turn their cameras on during the session to practice their signing!

Hello! I'm a rising high school senior and I am here to help fellow students with math subjects up to Calculus AB, physics, as well as other enrichment subjects! In my free time, I love to draw, play the flute, and make my own jewelry :)

For this session, I will be introducing American Sign Language (ASL) and we will practice the ASL alphabet, fingerspelling, and our first sentence in the language! We will end off the session with a fingerspelling word search :)

This session, I will be introducing ASL's unique sentence structure and we will be practicing a few basic sentences. I will then be introducing and going over some facts about deaf culture and we will end off the session with a Kahoot about sentence structure + deaf culture :)

This session, we will be practicing numbers in ASL! We'll be learning numbers 1-30, how to sign ages, and learning a few math signs in ASL. Finally, we'll end off the session with some Wordwall activities related to what we've learned regarding numbers :-)

This session, we will be diving into emotions + colors in ASL! We'll go over a few emotions (ex. happy, sad, tired, etc.) and color (ex. red, orange, blue, etc.) signs, as well as learning how to sign basic sentences relating to these topics. Finally, we'll end off the session with a jeopardy of the things we learned :-)

This session, we will be exploring school in ASL! We'll be going over a few school related signs (grade level, classes, locations, and more). I'll be teaching a few sentences relating to school. Finally, we'll be ending off the session with a game of bingo using the signs we've learned :-)

Finally, we'll end the activity with a crossword puzzle, practicing the signs we've learned today :-)
