About

Want to boost your SAT Reading and Writing confidence and improve your test-day performance? Join this weekly group every Friday for in-depth, interactive lessons led by a 1500+ scorer.

Each session focuses on the exact question types and skills tested by the College Board. We’ll cover questions relating to grammar rules, punctuation, rhetorical synthesis, and words in context through the SAT English subsections of Information and Idea, Expression of Ideas, Standard English Conventions, and Craft and Structure.

Do you abhor the English section? Feel like words like benevolent and ubiquitous belong in another language? Or like Shakespeare is speaking a whole different language? Or frustrated when you have to choose the “best” evidence, but all the options seem right? You’re not alone.

No matter your experience level, this group is designed to meet you where you are, help you improve effectively, and build your confidence.

Have questions about the course? Message me anytime through Schoolhouse or on the course page.

Hi, I’m Matthew – welcome to my profile! I’m a high school senior from Illinois (US), and I run weekly SAT and AP prep courses designed to help students reach their goals. With experience tutoring students from around the world, I’ve helped learners of all starting levels improve their SAT scores. I also offer in-depth support for AP courses, helping students build confidence and earn top scores. Outside of tutoring, I play baseball, support the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and participate in extracurriculars including BPA, Debate, YMSL, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, and various local volunteer organizations. Questions? Feel free to reach out anytime! This document gives the schedule of my courses, their descriptions, and explains how to navigate my many (especially SAT) courses that sound and look similar in order to hopefully find you the best fit and prevent you from accidentally repeating material. https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQ4QjBxTVWc6ZYf5ADZ1qKGPbRU_eJn7EERZ7t5UhHUFSIh-QV8VQ-JzjHRjm1kVAZqNOyDlyklIcOp/pub I also made this list of free SAT materials that I recommend https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vS7iztppWzb7ApGPobfnxQIzp2oVgcnnMKYCaBEYUHU0oK-y3X-gAa-UY78vRv6dzApjWnaQ0iOSMhX/pub Also: If you were removed from a course due to inactivity but are ready to rejoin and follow the attendance policy, just message me on Schoolhouse or through the course page.
