In this series I will both teach the fundamentals and advanced skills in Model UN but also hold practice conferences for you all to practice and hone your skills
﻿
🏆 Each session we will either be learning a new skill, doing a practice drill, or running a quick 1-hour practice conference
🏆Anyone from beginner, to intermediate, to expert delegate is welcome to join this series, there is always something to learn from a little extra practice
🏆I will also hold office hours where you can get your questions answered personally

GA Practice Speech Drills:

📄 We will do a lightning round of speech practice
📄 I will give everyone the same mod topic, time limit, and position
📄 You will then have 10 minutes to research a bit of background
📄 We will then run a mock moderated caucus
📄 Depending on time, we may do this several times
📄 This is a great opportunity to practice speaking
📄 I will share feedback on everyone's speeches

GA Draft Resolution and Bloc Management Drill

📄 Everyone will be given a position and topic
📄 Everyone will then have 15 minutes to research
📄 Then, we will break out into a mock 20-minute unmoderated caucus
📄 Each bloc will need to produce a draft resolution
📄 This is a great chance to practice unmods
📄 I will provide feedback on your papers and bloc leadership/management
