About

Are you passionate about music? Do you sing, play an instrument, or have a desire to learn? If so, the Schoolhouse Orchestra is the perfect place for you! Our mission is to unite the Schoolhouse community through the universal language of music, creating connections that transcend borders and bring us together, even through screens.

Led by me, Jayden K, the Schoolhouse Orchestra aims to foster a vibrant musical environment where individuals from all walks of life can come together to share their love for music.

Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting your musical journey, everyone is welcome! Our community is made up of diverse members from around the globe, and we believe that the more, the merrier. Currently, we have a cap of 100 participants, but as interest grows, we will gladly expand our orchestra to include even more music lovers.

Each week, we will gather to explore the world of music together. We’ll start with the fundamentals—scales, arpeggios, and rhythm exercises—tailored to the skill levels of our members. As we progress, we’ll dive into a rich repertoire of music to sight-read and perform as a cohesive group. If you have a specific piece in mind, I’ll do my best to find it or arrange it for us to play together.

At the heart of our orchestra is the belief that "Music is connection." It transcends language and cultural barriers, allowing us to communicate from the heart. Regardless of our differences—be it race, culture, religion, or traditions—music is the thread that binds us as humans. As my old band teacher once said, "It is by culture and family that we connect, and music is what makes us all connected."

Join us at the Schoolhouse Orchestra, where we will not only make music but also forge friendships and create lasting memories.

I can’t wait to see you all and embark on this musical journey together! Let’s shine through music and celebrate our connections!

Heya!!! My name's Jayden, and I go by Shu or Akkanee. I'm a High Schooler taking outside-of-school courses and random courses and classes I can do for credits and stuff because I'm bored. My grades range from B to an A. Sometimes I did get a C in PE because I'm more of a sit down and learn guy, I don't like exercising, and I may or may have not flunked on that fitness test. I do Scioly (Science Olympiad). I am a senior officer in the TSA (Technology Student Union) and a Mathematical Gamer (I use slope to aim in WOWS, Why? I mean... It works?) I'm a very funny class taker, as I took probably all the harder stuff first and then suffered in more easier subjects lol. Naval History AP is fun, take it. Taking GH (GT) Band (again), and Orchestra outside of school, AGAIN. CLASSES TAKEN (Updated to the last course taken): - Naval Engineering AP - 4 - Aeronautical Engineering AP - 2 - Naval Strategy - G/T - History of World War 2 Advanced - Hn - Strategy - G/T - Biology G/T - Chemistry Hn (High School) - Physics G/T (Middle School) - Physics Hn (College Level, Even tho i'm not in college, still taking it for fun.) - Engineering and Structural Design G/T - Naval History GT/AP - And more Ranked 5th Place in Botany at Regionals for Scioly, YIPPEE. 3rd Place NIDMD/VA, 5-3
