About

Hallo! Willkommen! In this series, we will start from 0. No knowledge of German is needed. We will have a new topic each week and practice the 4 fundamental skills of a language; speaking, listening, reading, and writing. We will learn the A1 material and practice the Goethe A1 Exam, so if you choose to test, you will be prepared. We will learn a variety of topics such as food, family, shopping, and much, much more! This series will be rather dense, but if you want to become conversational in German over the summer, this series is for you.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where I studied Molecular and Cell Biology and Scientific Communication. I currently work at an international biotechnology company working in their small molecule department as a scientist developing new medicines. I have a love of learning which has led me to be able to speak 3 languages which are English, German, and Turkish, and I am currently learning more. In addition to my academic studied, I also play numerous instruments. As a tutor, I am very passionate about helping students reach their full potential in all levels of school. I love school and want to help others gain the passion for learning and enjoy not only the outcome, but also the process. I tutor biology, chemistry, writing, German, Turkish, and a variety of AP classes to help students prep for their exams. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, playing D&D, and watching movies/TV shows.
