About

This book club features all types of literature related to medicine. We will explore many different topics ranging from medical history, to anatomy and physiology. All books will be in a story, so we won’t be reading textbooks or anything technical as the goal is to learn about medicine in a fun way. You do not need to have any biology/medicine knowledge to join, just a passion to seek knowledge by reading and a willingness to participate in weekly discussions. Note: all books will be provided for you

I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where I studied Molecular and Cell Biology and Scientific Communication. I currently work at an international biotechnology company working in their small molecule department as a scientist developing new medicines. I have a love of learning which has led me to be able to speak 3 languages which are English, German, and Turkish, and I am currently learning more. In addition to my academic studied, I also play numerous instruments. As a tutor, I am very passionate about helping students reach their full potential in all levels of school. I love school and want to help others gain the passion for learning and enjoy not only the outcome, but also the process. I tutor biology, chemistry, writing, German, Turkish, and a variety of AP classes to help students prep for their exams. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, playing D&D, and watching movies/TV shows.
