About

Are you anxious about the test, unsure of the question formats, or just looking for a quick review before the big day? Well then you're in luck. Hey, my name is Mia and I am so looking forward to preparing you all for this upcoming SAT. As an experienced test taker who has studied this exam backwards and forwards, I have a passion to impart this knowledge onto others. I have spent countless hours doing pointless research, and I don't want you all making that same mistake. So I am here to guide you through three things.

1) Introducing you to the R&W SAT and its components
2) Helping you identify weak areas and give you specific targets for self practice
3) Lowering your test anxiety!

So come join! I can't wait to begin this awesome prep class with you. And yes, as any good tutor should be, I am an avid Star Wars fan. May the force be with you.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hey everyone! My name is Mia, and I am a junior in high school. I've been homeschooled almost my entire life, and I am also an SAT R&W prep and Reading tutor. Some fun facts about me - I am a powerlifter - I have taken Russian for 4 years, and I am also fluent in Hindi (hoping to use both in my career) - I love to read, bake, and hang out with people - I want to join Air Force ROTC and serve active duty. Many people in my life ask me why I chose this career path. The answer is always the same. My grandpa served in the armed forces. Thousands, upon millions of men have served before me, in order to ensure my future. Thousands of men sacrificed their time, their relationships with their loved ones, and even their lives so that I could freely enjoy the rights I have as a U.S. Citizen today. Without those sacrifices, I would not have these freedoms. I would live a very different life. They ensured my generation's freedom. I feel a duty to honor their sacrifice, and ensure the future of the next generation. I am physically able and mentally capable to perform my duty to my country and to the men who sacrificed for me. 4 years of service seems like such a small thing in comparison.
