Chairs: Anastasia M and Anagh S

Overview of the Committee’s Agenda:

Recently, the world has witnessed the significantly devastating impact of global health crises, as pandemics can negatively affect healthcare systems, destroy economies, and cause millions of deaths. There is a significant need for global health security. Countries worldwide face unique and shared challenges in pandemic preparedness.

Our committee will focus on strengthening global health security to prepare for future pandemics. Our agenda will include discussing the implementation of early warning systems, increasing rapid response abilities, fostering global cooperation. Pandemics know no borders. Thus, it is important for various nations to coordinate resources, share information, and support one another, so that they can protect public health all around the world.
