About

Hey guys! Do you want to draw together with everyone and learn how to improve any skills? Well you're in the perfect place! This series is for anyone who's interested to draw- from a pen and paper to even digitally! Everybody's welcome!

Every session there will be art challenges, spin the wheels or just a sit together with drawing! Any medium is okay, only requirement: the will to draw! Timing and number of days we have class can change if required or later on!

We will be doing tiny exercises in the beginning and then moving towards freestyle and group drawing sessions!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hey I'm Aeparish! I'm from India and I'm in 9th grade (homeschooled). I absolutely love drawing both digitally (on procreate & krita) and on paper! (+ 3d modelling in blender) I'm an aspiring animator and have started on that similarly with game dev! I find them really interesting. Outside, you'll probably see me taking photos of different bugs or collecting sticks and rocks. I code in a bunch of languages (more about it down below) and like astronomy & legos! -I love sci-fi and good thriller movies + reading books. I watch anime and read manga! Some of my favorite shows are interstellar, alien stage, source code, wall-e, etc. -I listen to tons of music, and love seeing people's art. Some of my favorite music artists are Mitski, C!nah, UNIS, Enhypen and more. -I play the violin, sing and can code (since 4th grade) in Scratch, Gdevelop, C++, Python, HTML & CSS. -I post my art online! -Along with all of this I'm learning French (level B1) and Chinese (HSK1). On the side I'm trying to learn others like korean. I find them fun. Accomplishments- -Done a datascience & bioengineering course (by UC Irvine). -Attended an astronomy course by a qualified instructor in the field (Dr. George Roush). -Participated in the NASA Hackathon 3 (+more to come) years in a row. I've got experience. :D -Been in a workshop empowering girls in astronomy by the Dr. Aomawa Shields. -Midway at a Harvard course on computer science (CS50). -Starting (soon) a Modern arts course by The Museum of Modern Arts (Coursera). -Currently in a research paper workshop for undergraduates and highschool students- 4 months long aiming to publish paper(s) (UC Irvine again, Professor. Faisal Nawab). -Dialogue club president here at schoolhouse! I've also attended over 25! ..There's so much more to come! Feel free to message for any doubts on these topics/subjects!

Hello, everyone. My name is Joseph. I am a homeschooled high school rising senior from China, yet I am enrolled in an American program. I am the Founder of the Reading and Writing Subworld and a former moderator (Nov 2023-May 2025); I am now a moderator of the Tutor Subworld. On Schoolhouse, I mainly focus on hosting and constructing community events, like game nights and academic competitions. I also tutor English literature and the Chinese language. I played the instrument Hulusi (gourd flute), a traditional Chinese instrument, and reached the top level in 2022; I also have fundamental knowledge of piano and the Chinese bamboo flute. I enjoy creating with art, especially ink pen sketching and digital; I also enjoy creating atlases for imaginary worlds. In my free time, I like to play video games (Honor of Kings, Arena Breakout, and Minecraft), rollerblade, play soccer, and watch movies. I am a very active tutor on Schoolhouse, and I love to make friends! Feel free to reach out with anything you might need help with, and I am willing to lend a hand if it is within my power.

Hey guys! I’m Mattis, a homeschooled 8th grader currently living in Shenzhen, China! Since I learn mostly through khan academy videos and exercises, I am really thankful to Sal Khan for making this possible. I love writing fiction novels (two of them, Ebse Nexus and Bombardment B, are nearly done), which are typically a blend of sci-fi and fantasy. I used to be very active on Khan Academy (before I got muted for some reason) and I decided to come here to help people with R&W on its subworld. I’m a total extrovert and can always be found attending and hosting sessions and answering people’s questions!! Some things I like to brag about on SHW: —Having hosted 300 sessions —Having reached 1000 helpful and super helpful ratings —Having attended 200 sessions —Having won the Historia event on schoolhouse. —Having met Sal Khan. Some fun facts about me: I became a tutor on October 14, 2024 at 7:10-7:11 pm GMT+8. I reached Bronze Level (500 SP) at 10:49 pm GMT+8, November 8. I became a tutor in Enrichment Subworld on November 12, at 5:14 am. I reached Silver Level (1000 SP) at 8:12 pm GMT+8, November 30 (last day of November yippee) I reached Gold Level (2500 SP) at roughly 11:06 PM GMT+8, Jan 10, 2025 (got a shoutout at 5:24 am). I’m a big fan of Duolingo I have a 1700+ day streak (over 4 years now) and 1.5 million XP. My MBTI Personality Type is ENFP-A, Campaigner. My Hogwarts House is Gryffindor. I know a lot of people really want to be Gryffindor, but I actually prefer Slytherin. My favorite games are: Minecraft, Krunker.io (#1 class: Triggerman), War of Sticks, Gimkit (recently became a huge fan), and Chess (on chess.com). My favorite books: Harry Potter, LOTR, and Percy Jackson. I’m hosting an ongoing session on the latter. My favorite movies are: Inside Out, Incredibles, Star Wars My favorite songs are: Unstoppable, Chandelier, When We Were Young, Hello My favorite colors: Purple, Indigo, Turquoise, Black. I hate orange. As for hobbies, I have a ton of them: Writing fiction, chess, speed typing (avg. speed roughly 80-90 wpm, record 117 wpm), drawing my characters, and reading books. I absolutely adore drawing and try to make at least three a day. Right now I’m learning German, Mandarin Chinese (both on Duolingo), and conlangs, mostly Ebsian, a language I created for my stories. —— —— —— —— / | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Khaza Rúm //^^^^IIIIIIIIII^^^\\ | 《 |IIIIIIIIII 》————| | \\_ _ IIIIIIIIIII__// | |____________________________」
