If you happen to miss a session, all materials will be available for review. It's crucial to catch up before the next class. While attendance is encouraged, it's not mandatory. In our first session, we will introduce the basics of algebra. We will start with an overview of what algebra is and why it is important. We will cover fundamental concepts such as overview and history of algebra, variables, substitution and evaluating expression, etc. I will provide simple examples and walk you through how to evaluate expressions and solve basic equations.

You will also have a chance to practice some problems and ask questions along the way. This session is all about setting a solid foundation, so you will feel comfortable as we move forward in the course!
