About

Hello, I'm Michelle P and I'm so excited to teach this bootcamp! This is my sixth R&W bootcamp and I'm also teaching a second bootcamp this October session. In my free time, I love baking brownies and cakes while listening to music. My favorite artists right now are IU and Gracie Abrams. Outside of school, I do debate and love writing science-fiction. My favorite part of R&W is Standard English Conventions, especially commas. However, I love all reading questions, except the ones that include tables and charts. I hope to improve my teaching skills, especially when I teach specific skills or tips on problems. Please make sure you have time to attend most of the sessions to learn. I look for ward to teaching you all!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello! I'm a high school student from California. In my free time, I love baking, reading, and watching Netflix. I love listening to music while I study (although it slows down my efficiency). I love pop music the most. At school, my favorite subjects are math, English, and band. I'm here to help peer tutor other students for the SAT. I hope to improve my communication skills with other students!

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.
