About
Tutored by
Hi! I'm a high school student with a passion for education. When I'm not blasting Harry Styles or Phoebe Bridgers, you can find me reading poetry, baking, or crocheting. I’m currently taking a variety of AP classes, and I'm also a coach, subworld moderator, and user support co-lead here at Schoolhouse—if you have any questions or want to review topics together, feel free to reach out! I’d love to help.
Hey there! I'm Joe, a college freshman with a strong passion for math, computer science, and education. I have been homeschooled all the way through high school and currently reside in Oregon, USA. I'm glad to be a part of this wonderful community! I'm here to learn what I don't know and teach what I do know! I can tutor in any math topic ranging from pre-algebra to calculus, with a particular enthusiasm for geometry and trigonometry. I scored 790 on the Math section of the SAT, so I'm equipped to help with SAT Math prep as well. In addition to being a tutor here at Schoolhouse, I serve as a Geometry Subworld Moderator and a Tutor Coach. I was previously an SAT Bootcamp Guide and a member of the Welcoming Team. For fun I enjoy computer programming, keeping up with tech innovations, playing chess, solving Rubik's Cubes, stargazing with my refractor telescope, playing pickleball, and hiking the scenic trails of Oregon. I look forward to working with you!
Hello! I'm a high schooler, and I'm super passionate about learning and teaching Math, Science, History, Geography, Tamil, Sanskrit, and Public Speaking. I've already tackled Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry. I'm a fluent Tamil speaker but feel free to ask me any questions in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, English, or Malayalam. If you're curious about any of the stuff I mentioned, reach out to me, and I'll do my best to help you out!
Hello everyone, my name is Joseph. I am a homeschooled high school junior from China yet taking an American program. I am the Founder and Moderator of the Reading and Writing Subworld. On Schoolhouse, I like to tutor English literature, ancient history&culture/mythology, Chinese, and community events. My sessions are full of joy and laughter because I like to insert games into my session and I enjoy chatting with my learners about anything. My best subjects in school are history, geography, and English, but please do not ask me to tutor you in STEM, that is my weak spot. I played the instrument Hulusi (gourd flute) a traditional Chinese instrument and reached the top level in 2022; I also have fundamental knowledge of piano and the Chinese bamboo flute. I also make a lot of art with ink pen and gouache. I have been attempting digital art recently and really enjoyed it! In my free time, I also play video games; I am a huge Honor of Kings fan :) I am a very active tutor on Schoolhouse and I love to make friends! Feel free to reach out with anything you might need help with and I am willing to lend a hand if it is within my power.
Hey y'all! I'm Hind, a college freshman residing in KSA! I've been here on Schoolhouse as a tutor for over a year, and my goal is to share what I already know; I've also been a learner here for over two years to learn what I don't know! My strong suit is anything mathematics related, particularly calculus and advanced algebra; I've also scored a 700+ on the SAT math section and have a lot of science and English knowledge that I'd be more than happy to share! Furthermore, I'm a Schoolhouse moderator in the calculus subworld, so if any of you there are ever in need of any additional support or guidance, feel more than welcome to reach out! Outside of the Schoolhouse platform, I enjoy writing in English calligraphy, watching competitive cooking shows, and learning new languages, especially French and Arabic! I'm beyond grateful to be a part of this wonderful community, and it's a huge pleasure to meet all of you!
Hello, my name is Rohan! I am from New Jersey, and I am currently a high schooler. My goal on Schoolhouse is to help other students like me learn and be prepared for anything. My passion lies in machine learning (ML), and I have researched everything ML! (from model training techniques, hyperparameter tuning, and fine-tuning after the training process). Additionally, I enjoy software engineering on a broader level, with interests in competitive programming (USACO), web development, and efficiency with everything I create! During my free time, I am an avid videogame player, with multiple "Platinum" trophies on the hardest games of the decade. I have also played piano for 6 years and arrange my favorite video game tracks on piano (like "Escaping a Foul Prescence" from Ori 2, "Abyss Watchers" from Dark Souls 3, and "Final Battle" from Elden Ring as great examples)! Going outside the house, I play goalkeeper for my high school soccer team and I am a varsity swimmer. In addition to computer science, I also love mathematics, so if you have any questions about any High School Mathematics, Machine Learning, Python, or Java, feel free to ask me and I will try to get back to you with answers! Happy learning everyone! - Rohan
