About

Hi, I'm Michelle P and I'm excited to teach the SAT Reading and Writing! In my free time, I love baking, reading, and watching Netflix. I'm currently listening to "The Tortured Poets Department." My favorite artist at the moment is IU During the bootcamps, I love teaching grammar as a whole, especially punctuation. However, I love all reading questions except the ones that include tables and charts. I hope to expand my teaching experience overall. Please make sure you have time to attend most of the sessions to learn. I look forward to meeting you all.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

Hello! I'm a high school student from California. In my free time, I love baking, reading, and watching Netflix. I love listening to music while I study (although it slows down my efficiency). I love pop music the most. At school, my favorite subjects are math, English, and band. I'm here to help peer tutor other students for the SAT. I hope to improve my communication skills with other students!
