About the research study
The free Schoolhouse SAT® Bootcamp program is part of a study in collaboration with a partner organization to research the impact of no-cost, online SAT tutoring. As part of the study, learners and volunteer tutors may also be asked to complete study tasks including surveys, short exercises, and focus groups. Parental consent is required for students to attend and tutor bootcamps.
Choose volunteer peer tutoring to:
Learn from qualified, top-scoring students
Our high-school tutors are freshly familiar with the SAT and have verified scores in the 95th percentiles on subject(s) they teach–so you can trust them to lead the way.
Ask questions and build confidence
Cohorts are intentionally kept small and our tutors are trained to foster safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environments–so you can speak up, ask questions, and prepare for your big day with a friendly group of familiar faces.
Join a supportive community
Schoolhouse is about uplifting students, no matter who you are. Our peer tutors care about making the world a better place by sharing what they know and giving back–in turn, they earn volunteer hours and develop professional leadership experience.

I did an SAT math series with Firdaus F. She was great! I really struggled to understand how I could get a better score on the math section until I did sessions with her. She is very helpful and thorough in her explanations. I had a very big jump in my SAT math score after doing her bootcamp series. Highly recommend both her and Schoolhouse as a whole!
