This is an 8 week course that covers every topic in Pre Algebra. We will have 2 sessions a week. With OPTIONAL homework between each seesion. We will have a midterm and a final to see what topics we need to revisit. At the end of this course, you will have a complete understanding of every concept in Pre Algebra.

Each day, we'll go over one topic. Topics include: -Evaluating Expressions with Multiple Variables -Evaluating Expressions in Context -Writing Basic Algebraic Expressions in Context -Comparing Expressions for Equivalence Each session will include topic questions for you to practise what was covered in the session, and be encouraged to come off mute or type in the chat for generaal participation, such as asking or answering questions.

✨ Each week, we will cover a topic in Khan Academy's Pre-Algebra in order. You can bring your homework too! We will work together and solve. If there is something specific you want to go over, this session is for you! We can do it the way you would like :) By the end of this series, you should be able to solve all the things in Pre-Algebra. We can add more sessions if you enjoy :) We will meet on Sundays at 10:30 AM EST. excited to see all of you 🎀

Each week we will be learning different parts of this unit. We will always start with a small review of the previous week lesson, start understanding the lesson for the week, do various examples, then do a fun gimkit/kahoot. Here is the outline for this whole unit: 1st week- Parts of Algebraic Expressions 2nd week- Evaluating expressions with multiple variables 3rd week- Evaluating expressions word problems 4th week- Writing algebraic expressions introduction 5th week- Writing algebraic expressions word problems 6th week- Distributive property with variables 7th week- Combining like terms 8th week- Full review

Each week, we will cover one unit in Pre-Algebra and work on problems in that unit.

Hey learners! In each session we will go over one lesson from unite 6 of Khan Academy Pre-Algebra, and there will be lots and lots of practice. You will be provided with notes for reviewing and worksheets to prepare for upcoming lessons. Plus a study tracker to make things fun and exciting! 💫 And please feel free to put any questions you have, concerning this session, on the discussion section or text me directly. We might learn a specific topic in each lesson but you can ask for help on other topics and we will discuss it on the last 5-10min. 💫
