APUSH Readiness Course
Starts
Hi everyone! In this course, we will be going over units 1-9 of APUSH. This class may seem challenging and information packed at first glance, but it truly is a fun experience with the right preparations and help :).
We will go over 2 units per week, meaning that this series should end around early August (hopefully before school starts for most of you guys). I will do an overview of each unit as well as answer any questions you guys may have. Of course, the content is important, but it's also crucial to understand exam structure and expectations for essay criteria. We will:
-Practice some writing along with the APUSH rubric
-Learn how to approach MCQs
-Get ready to go through questions faster to preserve time during tests
-Maintain confidence when dealing with a content-heavy course :)
I hope you guys enjoy the series. I am so happy to be apart of your APUSH journey. Always glad to help!

US History Practice Test
Starts
Let's have fun together all whilst studying and preparing for your next exam. This will be a fun trivia game (Kahoot, Blooket, or possibly Gimkit) to study. :)
Feel free to join as a co-host and host your own sessions in this series or request extra sessions. :)
This is fun to join even if you aren't currently taking any history classes as it will be a fun trivia.

AP US History [Speed-run] Summer Prep
2nd session
Overview: Each week, we will cover a unit outlined in the AP College Board curriculum. Because of the fast-paced nature of this series, I will only be going over the most crucial points of each unit/time period. This is why each class will be 1hr20min long! The class will be a mix of lectures, games, and mini-practice tests.
Target audience: Students taking APUSH next year (but anyone interested in US history or history in general is welcome to attend, I will edit the max learner limit accordingly)
Schedule: Sessions will be on Fridays other than the first session. Happy 4th of July! We will start on Saturday 7/5 for Session 1 ONLY.
Homework: 30min-60min of homework is expected for each week. Again, because this is a fast-moving course, lectures and activities will cover most of the class time. The majority of homework will be self-practice on Khan Academy with MCQs.
*Note: Granted, you will be learning a lot about US history through this series, but this is NOT an in-depth course and should NOT be taken in place of an actual APUSH class. This class is only meant to serve as a precursor to better prepare you for your upcoming APUSH class.

APUSH Summer Review !
4th session
Hello all! From personal experience, I know APUSH (AP United States history) can be a challenging course. However, I am here to help prepare you to master the subject! We will be going over all 9 units of the course, with due time, and different strategies to use when answering short answer questions (SAQs), document based questions (DBQs), and long essay questions (LEQs). I do not expect much from you all except that you pay attention during the lesson and interact frequently. If you have any questions about any of the units in APUSH, I will be happy to answer them. Can't wait to see you all! 😀

APUSH- Lessons, Resources, and Strategies in Order to 5.
5th session
APUSH is a difficult course, however with an organized plan I hope to ease it for you and help you get a 5 with more confidence in the material and the ability to take away ideas and concepts for the future.
I plan on breaking up APUSH into multiple lessons where in each lesson I'll break it up into alternative exams and understanding how to crack it and the other half on learning the content.
I will provide all resources, however you must be willing to study outside of class and prepare on your own for a couple of hours minimum if you hope to reach a 5.
I am excited to begin this session and help you all get a bit closer with history !
