Strategic AP Chemistry Prep from 5 scorers

Starts

Each week, we’ll cover topics essential to AP Chemistry with the goal of successfully completing the AP exam in May. These sessions are designed for students who have already taken a high school chemistry course or are currently enrolled in AP Chemistry. We’ll begin by focusing on how to study for the course, the best resources available, and effective, strategic study habits. From there, we’ll work through the AP course units, covering all the essential content in an engaging and accelerated way. Once April rolls around, we’ll shift into exam prep mode, using a combination of proven materials and personal strategies we used to help you aim for that 4 or 5. All you’ll need for these sessions is something to write on and with, an AP Classroom account, a calculator, and a motivated mindset. Looking forward to having you here! 😊

AP Chem Kickoff Series: Building the Basics

Starts

Starting AP Chem this year? This series will help you get a strong foundation. Across four sessions, we’ll move step by step through the first units — beginning with moles and measurements, then covering atomic structure, periodic trends, and finally valence electrons and ionic bonding.

Each session will include a short review of the key ideas, practice with AP-style questions, and time to ask questions. The focus is on making the core concepts clear and building confidence with the kinds of problems you’ll see in class and on the exam.

You can join any session on its own or attend the whole series — either way, you’ll come away more confident with the fundamentals of AP Chemistry 🥰

AP Chemistry Unit 1 AP Style Questions Review

Starts

This series intends to focus on teaching the first unit of AP Chemistry (Atomic Structure and Properties) by diving into AP multiple choice and free response questions.

I scored a 5 on AP Chemistry, and I believe it is significantly important to focus on AP style MCQs and FRQs. It does not just help with the national exam in May, but the rigor of the questions are often more difficult than the basic questions you may be exposed to in lectures or homework.

AP Chemistry Review

2nd session

Join this series to review AP Chemistry curriculum! We'll start with some fundamental knowledge and then slowly move into the AP curriculum; the goal is to cover all the essential topics in time for the AP Exam in May. We will go in a different unit order than what College Board has posted, but we will still hit all the topics! In addition to going over content, we will talk about methods of studying, helpful resources, and general advice for the class. Every session, we will have time to answer any questions that come up as well. This series will work best if you're currently enrolled in AP Chemistry, but all learners are more than welcome to join! I have earned As in my class and scored a 5 on the AP Exam, and I can't wait to share my knowledge with everyone! It'd be great to have you here! 🧪🥼💟

AP Chemistry: Full Course to a 5

2nd session

Taught by a high school student who scored a 5 in AP Chemistry (among many other 5s) and received a 100% percent in both semesters of the course, AP Chemistry: Full Course to a 5 covers all information necessary to obtain a 5 on the AP Exam. The course is based on the College Board's official Course and Exam Description (CED), and will cover all topics, ranging from atoms and molecules to electrochemistry. It is designed to prepare you both for your class and your AP Exam.

Chemistry Olympiad Summer-Fall Prep

7th session

Hey guys! My name is Dhruhi I'm excited to work with all of you this summer + fall. As a Chemistry Olympiad participant for over 3 years, I noticed that there were few free Chemistry Olympiad Prep Courses that covered questions above the AP chemistry level so I decided to create this course for all of the talented high school and middle school students in the world that are preparing for the Chemistry Olympiad.

That being said this course will be rigorous and an honors chemistry background is required (reading the Zumdahls textbook would be sufficient to take this class).

In the first class, we will take a diagnostic exam so I can survey the group's proficiency in certain topics.
Generally, each week, we will have a learning objective. The session will start with a 10-20 minute lesson on the topic. Based on the scores, we will do 40-50 minutes of targeted group practice (on Khan Academy AP Chemistry Problems, online Chemoly practice, and official Chemistry Olympiad practice test questions).

Throughout the series, I will provide free resources that you can study from including my own notes, tips, online study guides, practice questions etc and always feel free to message me with any chemistry questions :)

Near the end of the series, we will try taking half and then full length practice exams to assess our growth + check the need for additional Q&A sessions.

As a final note, I am happy to take more learners mid-series but they may have to cover some of the previous material independently.

Happy Studying 📖🧪⚛️!

Chemistry Olympiad Study Group

18th session

Each week we will start with a 10 minute practice quiz on a certain topic in Chemistry Olympiad. Based on the scores, we will do 30 minutes of targeted group practice and the last 20 minutes will be to go over Chemistry Olympiad practice test questions covering that topic. Reading the Zumdahls textbook or going over an AP Chemistry Course would be sufficient to take this class.
