AP Biology Crash Course
6th session
Each week we'll go over one to two units in AP Biology. The goal is to review/learn AP Biology before the next school year, this is to either aid with self studying or just to study ahead.
We will cover all the units in AP Biology and will usually cover two topics per session, but not always. Due to this, some sessions may be slightly longer than others.
We can go over College Board expectations and will probably do FRQs as well.

AP Biology: Summer Series!
7th session
Hi! Our names are Ariel (pre-med student) and Saffron (high school student). We’ve taken AP Biology and know how challenging (but fun!) this class can be. We're excited to help you feel confident with the content and exam strategies this summer. :)
Join this summer series where we’ll go through each AP Bio unit, one week at a time! During each session, we’ll break down key concepts, go over MCQs (multiple choice questions) and FRQs (free response questions), and build the skills you’ll need to succeed in your AP class and on the exam. We’ll also share tips for first-time AP students, answer questions, and help you stay on track!
🧬 Unit 1: Chemistry of Life
🦠 Unit 2: Cell Structure and Function
⚡ Unit 3: Cellular Energetics
📱 Unit 4: Cell Communication and the Cell Cycle
👨👩👧👦 Unit 5: Heredity
🧬 Unit 6: Gene Expression and Regulation
🦋 Unit 7: Natural Selection
🌱 Unit 8: Ecology

Intro to Biology Honors
10th session
If you haven't taken biology yet, this course will introduce you to key concepts you have to know, like macromolecules, cells, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, cell division, heredity, transcription and translation, and gene expression and regulation. We usually have a session every 2 days, in which I teach something new and give you practice problems. Look forward to seeing you!

Biology Course 🧪🔬
19th session
In this series, we will go over all the units in Khan Academy's High School Biology Course (NOT AP). I will go over content in each session, and we will do Khan Academy practice problems in each session. I intend on making sessions interactive. I hope to be able to help you learn about biology! :)🧪🔬
❗🕕 Sessions are planned to be on Wednesdays at 6:30pm EST. There is no set end date yet. Sessions will be added as time goes on.
🐢Sessions are pretty slow-paced. The sessions are slow paced because I want to make sure each learner knows the content well. 💡
The units we will go over include:
1. Ecology and natural systems
2. From cells to organisms
3. The cell cycle and differentiation
4. Energy and matter in biological systems
5. Gene expression and regulation
6. Inheritance and variation of traits
7. Mechanisms of evolution
8. Common ancestry and phylogeny
